20xe wont turn over or click nothing

right to to start with i have put a 20xe dizzy into a preg cosa sport
1st off all engine was fine when removed from me gte 5 weeks ago

have ignition ligts and main headlights elec windows ect but engine wont go to turn over

have got starting and charging loom on xe engine engine, e.g multiplug into car loom main power going to large bolt on starter and alt wired up.

the only earth i have got is the earth from -ve battery to the bottom bolt off the starter, -battery to bulkhead by battery and -battery to the engine loom but no other earths atm

engine loom for now ignition live in engine bay to +ve in battery to keep power to it nd thick red to battery +ve all sensors ect wired up
drivers foot well
blue/red to blue/red (fuel pump)
green to green (rev counter)
blue to blue (coolant)

now on the engine loom inside footwell i have all the extra wires an the diagnostics wires but am leaving them taped up atm to stop confusing matters. but on corsa loom inside footwell there is a thick red and a thin black that im guessing need to be put to something ?
black i am pressuming the ignition live that i have temp put to battery goes
and the red i am thinking i may have to run this too the battery +ve too but am unsure

any ideas on what has gone wrong?

put your xe ignition live to the black in the footwell, you can leave the xe large red on the battery, i use the corsa/tigra starting loom on the xe engines.
you should have a earth on the block.
