Petrol in oil....:( c20xe

hi guys been having loads of issues with my xe nova, think it was over fueling like mad because tried standard fuel rail and improved 100% thanks (will F) also got new loom fitted today and noticed the dip stick smelt fuely is this down to overfueling or am i looking at piston rings,, valves etc.... car was running well in doner mk3 astra....

Could just be where it was runnign rich, and you were getting bore wash. Fuel could have run past the rings into the oil...

oil tends to smell abit like fuel ish! i wouldnt say i was creeping past the rings ther rings were totaly goosed!

have you tried a cts?

how do you know its overfuelling now?

I'd drop the oil, put new in and then get it on an exhaust gas tester

It will smell a bit dude - due to the fact it was over-fuelling when it was running - will be fine to get running...

But do change it when you want to start using it proper! ;)
