to build a nova 2.0 16v turbo.i would be able to do all the mechanics myself and could probably do the wiring aswell.i used to have a 2.0 16v and im on the look out for it but if i cant find her i would love to build a turbo.

depends how good a job you want to do and what you have to start with regards with suspension/brakes etc

also depending how long you take and how many bargains you get

£2k - £12k imo

its nice to have something you built yourself but i just would have 3 or 4 grand to spend.i did a 2.0 16v conversion on a nova i have about 9 years ago the engine cost £700 and i got a f16 box for nothing and got the 2.0 rear disc setup for nothing aswell.all in it really did cost that much cause i did all the work myself apart from the electrics.if i was gona to it again it would have to be a turbo.

Or do a V6 instead, mine stands me at probably about £1k and is on par with a std LET power wise.

........just don't point it at any corners lol

i wasnt over keen with the 2.5 v6 and my mate lashed me in his LET id like to have seen the 3.0 have a decent run though :(

3.2 v6 with 100bhp of nos. job done, £50 shell and your easy under 900 quid.

I would not like to put a v6 in a 50 pound shell imo, even without nos.
But then you could be lucky and get a decent one

i built one and it cost me 1800 bucks! i already had the engine and loom mind, price included new gaskets and seals etc

it was fairly tidy too, sprayed all myself etc
