right got a digi dash but dident get the transduser its from an 8v gte does the transducer have to come from the same car? if not what options have i got

it dont have to come from the same car no, but you have to get an 8V transducer.

is there any other cars part from gte i can get one from coz chances are i wont find another gte in a scrapy with it still in

theres about 6-7 different transducers, u need the exact 1, usualy easier to go find another complete unit

put post in the wanted section for a transducer 8V. I got one straight away...

Dicko- so long as its a 8v gte transducer is should work with his 8v gte dash should it? could be wrong?

I never used the donor car transducer anyway. I bought them separate, as fas as knew so long as you get the right valve transducer it should work.

normally it wont work

chances of you getting right one are 1 in 10

there are only 2-3 transducers around for digidash

8v digidash uses 6 pulse transducer ident code AA
16v uses 16pulse transducer , not sure on the ident

1.2SPi and 1.4SPi nova's and corsa's have an AA coded sender for the ECU

ive used 2 and they both work

so get yourself to a scrapyard and collect a 1.2i sender and you'll be in business :)

lol must just be me then..

Ive had 4 sender units, all tried with the same digi dash, all appeared to work correctly. :o

Or am i just very very very very lucky :o

no its not just u

there are only 2 main senders the 8v AA and the 16v one

check the EPC if u want and ull see what i mean
