Its not running yet need to plumb the fuel pump in and when drill a hole in the bulkhead for the loom, It still needs some new rear springs and some suitable tyres! Avon Park FORD RWYB 3rd october all being well as shes still mot'd just need to tax her!! ( if and when she runs obviously lol) Took me just a week to get her all in including changing all the hubs shafts etc etc. And the best thing it buying the car and the calibra owes me £280!!

Cant wait to get her running and out just need some service bits and some gearbox oil the will try and fire her up!!

Awesome sleeper! Looks sweet under the bonnet! Are you keeping the trims on? What have you done about a fuel tank/swirl pot? How've you lowered it at the rear? when i did mine i used 16v lowering springs and welded the car top spring locators in.

cheers mate, yes the trims are staying for now lol its stilil running the carb tank for now until i can get a injection tank, ive heard of an idea about using a VW diesel fuel filter and using the return back into the filter supplying the feed but unsure yet. What do you mean about welding the rear spring locaters?

Going from memory my van had massive pigtail rear springs. I bought a complete gte car for spares and simply cut the spring plate out of the chassis leg and welded it over the pigtail platform on the van, Then dropped the car springs in. The springs i fitted were only 60mm but it ended up dropping it about 100mm.

Can't you just use an external swirl pot? sri tanks are rare as poo lol
