whats the easiest way to wire one up in a nova sr could i use a take off on the sender for the pressure?
no as that is pressure, not temp.
To fit a temp sensor your eather need a sandwich plate for the oil filter, or a sump plug adapter. Be wary of the latter though as if you knock it on a bump/speedbump/kurb, your be saying bye bye to all your oil.

On a car lower than 50mm I wouldnt.
They stick out about 25mm futher than a stock plug, and mine down 60mm used to scrub the sump on them silly centre humps:roll:
Its at an angle so you might get lucky, although as said its not ideal.
