3 door hatch / rear windows

I believe they were an option on the Opel Corsa A, speak to Brettski as i know he has them on his GT and may be able to give you info on sourcing the parts

and im pretty sure if you find a set they will more than likely be bronze tint which would look odd unless you can find the rest of the windows.

Yes I have only seen bronze tint, I looked at a set for the SR, looking at @£250 ish if your lucky to find set:eek:

Think dj browney explained before that the glass is a nightmare to get drilled and nowhere in the uk can make curved glass to suit. And if there was it would cost an absolute fortune!

i could be done but the cost of doing it would it really be worth it.

it wouldnt just be a case of using existing 1/4 windows anyway it would have to be a whole new peice of glass

You can get the openers in clear or bronze tint glass. The glass is not the difficult bit to get, its the opening handles. The seals are NLS everywhere aswell, took me ages to get a set but you can improvise.
The glass is larger on openers so cannot be replicated using standard glass drilled.
They were only designed for hot countries but on all of my hols in the usual hot countries I have only ever seen one Corsa A/Nova with them fitted.

The glass would need to be bigger than the standard glass.

There is no way to drill toughened glass all 'work' has to be done before the toughening process, if Browney has looked into it with no success then I'd take that as gospel that it can't be done

I thought Decs were bronze, they were a wierd set as the hinges were seperate and not bonded on as they should be.
Usually tells you if they are bronze on the stamped bit, will say 'bronce'.
Or put a piece of white paper behind the glass to check the tint.

Yours is a Mk1 shell but it did not have the holes, I had to cut them. There are no holes on the C pillars, you have to drill them.
I left 2 grommets on the N/S pillar when you had it as I could not get them out without cutting them:mad:

I really want to fit mine but I cannot bring myself to fit them to the Sport. Maybe they will go on the next toy ;)
