Ok so as this is kicking off now ill post a thread for whoever may be intrested

bought the car like so:

she is half stipped and will be cracking on with the rest when i get a few more bits shot of, springs are being cut soon and some plastic bumpers and steels etc are on there way, many more updates to come ;).

Proves the build/panel quality of BMW - A GM car would struggle to be that straight under the bumpers after 2 years - let alone 22!!

i dunno e30's rot just as bad if not worse than novas lol

Got your self a tidy motor there mate although ive been told the 325's arnt that good for drifting but the 318's are lol

Ok - well this one is looking pretty darn good then!

318s are better than 325s at drifting??? :confused:

325s have 190 ish bhp and the 318s have about 109! lol

i dont have a clue will just what the people have told me haha. was looking at an e30 325 the other day but it was rotten :(

so we will be seeing you stevie at combe busting your moves soon then :)

318is is the one to have, pretty sure a 325 will drift well though. E30's are tail happy anyway.

Friend of mine had one featured in a BMW mag not so long back, 4 door E36 tho not 30.

yes 170ish and beleive me this old girl dosent do straight lines and yes will be doing combe bit of track and drift manly drift just need to finish her off

havent got the funds to change them yet just having steelies on rear an something dishy and wide on the front see what funds i have.

right bought some new seats:

and an e36 rack spaced for an e30 for more lock to less turns and

nice, i picked up an e30 325i for a friend yesterday and loved driving it home. i even managed to behave all the way home but the noise is addictive

BMW's do rot as well - I've got a 1990 E30 sitting in my drive and it need lots and lots of love (read: new panels). It was holed to the point where it failed MoT... Sorted now.
Build quality on the other hand is superior to that of a Nova. Doesn't stop me loving my Nova's though. :d

Do all the 325 E30's have a LSD or was it only the sports? ( my mum had a diamond black F reg with OZ Saturn wheels, gota love the E30's )

Sports came with LSD's standard. It was an optional extra on most other E30's.
