I'm in need of a valuation for insurance, anyone know what I should insure my Sport for with an agreed value?

Hi Simon, didn't realise you still had this! You have had it some time now, is it still in use?
As for value, judging by what Marks sold for I think an agreed valuation of £3k-3.5k would be sensible.

Would an owners club opinion hold weight on an agreed valuation though?

Surely you'd need evidence of similar models being sold for the price you're looking at? Along with any receipts for build costs (if appropriate) etc.

The way I look at it - if someone was to hand you the money could you go out and replace your car for that money?

I know I'd find it tight to replace mine for £3-3.5k and if someone offered me that money for mine, I'd politely tell them to get stuffed!!
