Does it turn over OK? Maybe flash off the fault codes, chucking new sensors at it will be costly. A new crank sensor is pointless if the loom wires to it are fried (if you understand??).

So is it not running at all since fitting the XE?
Try unplugging the AFM. Maybe find someone with the same engine & try there ECU, AFM, coil & such.
Hows the rotor arm? Are the plugs gapped properly. I've had non-starters that went when I gapped the plugs down to .6mm

Gap the plugs down in that case.. Easy & won't cost.
All timing marks line up? Dont trust the bottom pulley marker though. Either go by the crank sprocket (dot) or if removing the bottom pulley & cover is too much hassle, put a screw driver down plug hole 1 & find TDC winding it over by hand. Yhen make sure the cam pully notches line up with their markers.

easier said than done. Paying someone to scratch their head for an hour isnt cheap. There is more knowledge on here than many mechanics have, But you could be lucky with a garage. Bit of a lotto tbh, even at Vauxhall dealerships.
