Need your guys opinions on astra vans

Im currentley looking for a mk3 astra van with a 1.7 td isuzu but dont seem to be having any joy as all i can find is the ones with the gm engine(did any come with the isuzu :confused:)

Has any one any experinence of these vans and the gm engine any comman fault or things to look out for

never came with the isuzu, avoid the gm engine like the plaque, it's useless!

i wonder why as they came in the mk3 astra cars and estates :confused:

plus im only going to be using it as a work hack to save some money on the daily commute 30miles or so round trip

yeah but preferably an estate now as ive found out that you cant get isuzu vans:(

i would like a isuzu van but seeing as they dont do them ill live with a gm engine as its only going to be used a work hack and to move stuff about

The isuzu lump is only in the combo chaps. get a combo a turbo it. i would really avoid the gm lump!

I know of a white Van with a isuzu in, thought it were standard... maybe wrong though.

id say the same my pall killed his astra van with the gm engine it'd done just over 100,000 he gave it daily abuse thrashed it burnouts ect ect! they changed the engine and replaced it with the 1.7td isuzu lump thats on scimilar mileage and get the same abuseand has not missed a beat!!
