the car being in a garage, having a thatcham approaved alarm and immob, first yr on the road, no conviction - all under ?700, and they allow mods in the first year, but not alloys or engine tune ups, but they do allow everything else, bodywork wise!

and all the quotes were for fully comp!

Have you tried HIC Insurance l8tly?? Im 19 with a well modded Nova GSi and im covered for just over a grand. They were by far the best quote I got and that even includes track day cover and loads of other usful stuff!!!!

Well, Im not sure if thats the case with the track day cover, but I wont be using that any way. The point is that they covered me with all my mods and didnt charge me any extra.
The lad on the other end of the phone did everything he could to bring the cost down, apparently they knock abit off for being subscribed to a magazine etc. so he said I had that, even tho I dont.
The service was quick and the lad knew what I was taking about when it came to the mods and was really helpful!!
They were the best for me, so if you need insurance it wont hurt to give them a try. :onfire:
