Quoting that website:

"We are able to supply all parts for your 1300 Nova engine. NASA approved camshafts, gaskets, pistons, bearings and more……..."

Novas have been into space? suprised I haven't heard of that before

the 1300sr did not have anything special done to the engine.... just order a std 1300 vaux cam on eBay. or get a piper/kent/ or similar

Reason why I'm looking at a replacement cam is that it sounds like the cam shaft is worn (mate is very sure that this is the case). Bit of noise from the cams (more than usual) at higher rpm and we're not feeling the power as much. So we're thinking to renew the cams and tappets etc to get everything tight and back to how it should be.

Wanna keep the engine standard as the exterior is so. Want it to be a mint example of a SR Nova :)

take the lifters out, strip them & clean them. then refit.. use a 15w50 oil.. this modern 5w30 etc is just not right for an old nova 8v engine but defo check the cam for wear too

It just had an oil change and we stuck in using 10w40 (maybe 15w40) Comma semi-syn. Would never stick 30 grade stuff in a Nova, would be suicide lol

We also changed the rocker cover gasket and my mate h da good look at the cams. Notcied a bit of wear on some of the lobes with some a bit scored.

We'll probably clean the lifters as we replace the cam. He almost bet his house that it's the cams, so I'm in lol

well. a worn camshaft doesn't make noise, it just doesnt open the valve as much. but if the lifters aren't working right, you get noise & not as much power. so for what an ebay cam kit costs, its probably worth swapping both. the engine is 20+ years old.
