Group B rally cars

here are my 2 offerings of group B, ULTIMATE SPEC, these cars never made it onto the stages but show where peugot and Audi were heading in terms of power and performance.
One car is the Audi Sport Quattro Evolution 2 and the other is the rare Peugot 405 T16
both at pikes peak.

no, front engine, but 4wd with an X-trax box. zakspeed turbo engine, and some more goodie's.

600 something hp iirc.

Well they're definitely air intakes but I dunno what for if the engine is in the front lol bit high for brakes really, could be rear rad but it wouldn't make a lot of sense on a car like that tbh

ive seen that sphere drake car in action at a rallycross event at knockhill years ago, iirc it got stripped to a million bits but is now being rebuilt and the wip is on the mk2 astra forum, ill link in a moment,

I used to un the Group B Website, where the majority of the members like me ran Renault 5 Turbo 1's & 2's.
I personally ran a Renault 5 Turbo 2, totally original in Silver, Awsome piece of kit.
Had it featured in the " Classic and Sports car " Magazine when I did a face off against the then new Clio V6. Whooped its backside, not bad for a 1400 turbo charged engine Vs a 3000 V6.
I also met Raganotti at one of our Track days and he drove my R5, what a thrill that was.
Eventuall sold the car to a bloke from California, wish I had kept it as there worth about £30k now.......BOOoooh Whooooo!!!!!:(

the astra used a sleeved down manta 400 motor with a truck turbo. i have video footage of the sphere drake car and the stp metro and the rs200's. i did hear of a rally series for old grp b cars, like the top hat groovy baby touring car series.
