what parts of the engine bay need to be strengthened for a 2.0 conversion?
down the sides of the inner wings/behind the suspension turrets anywhere else an which type of welds?

seam welding.

best of buying the strenghtning kit and you get a diagram of all the wak points as well.

Stich weld it (ie. inch of weld....inch of no weld....inch of weld...etc etc).

This way, if a weld does end up cracking, the whoile lot won't crack.

Do all of the seams that you can see from the bay, and from under each arch. But watch out when you weld the inner arch seams as there is carpet the other side of the metal!
