Yes, I have the same problem, I don't know how you stop it, but my car had it's MOT last month and that seemed to help it be less squeaky. I don't know what the mechanic did to it, but it still squeaks, just not as bad.

squeeks as in slipping? or squeeks as in when you put your foot down on it (even when the engine aint on) - if its the fors your clutch is on the way out, if its the second, i sprayed mine with WD40 (the spring at the back) but your best to get right in there and squeeze some oil in cos the WD40 only worked for bout 2 weeks. Let us know anyways

Do you mean the clutch pedal? if so I just dismantled the pedal and rubbed some chalk all over it, this seemed to stop it for a while, but it was an absolute pain in the arse to do!!!!(makes the sound again now!!!!)

Davo - its the second one, even when the engines not on.

right spray it with WD40 (you have to get on your hands and knees and spray upwards behind the pedal at the spring) that should sort it. You should actually use some diff oil as it will last longer.

if its the pedal then a bit of grease on the cable to pedal connection and no more squeak
