probs a ceased caliper or have you bleed the brakes recently and not that caliper properly.

its just come out of a and mot and the rear break was leaking so the breaks have recently been blead, but i'll try bleeding them again tonight to see if it makes a difference, if not then i'm f*cked

possibly a collapsed flexi hose.

Oh right, is there a quick fix to it if it is ceased up, or is it **** and I've got to go and get a new calliper
If it is the flex hose then I'm doubly f*ucked

nothing on a car is a quick fix, especially on brakes. if you arnt mech minded then take it into the mot place and ask them to take a look.

By quick fix I ment like fiddle about with it tonight to get It working coz I need it tomorrow. But I'm geussing not, I've got no problem with doing the work my self and I'm more them capable but parts are hard to come by at 7 at night.

nah its ok, some peopel dnt know one end of a car from t'other. id get your caliper off, check the pads aint stuck, then look at whether the piston is free in the caliper. if it is then its the flexi. if not free it off, by pumping the pedal so it pops out then clean it up. or just whack a new caliper on. :)

Ok mate cheers for that, I'll try it when I get home and see if I can get it working, if I push the peddle down and pop the piston out, what do I clean it with and will I get loads of break fluid pissing out everywhere?

you will get brake fluid coming out, so you need to rebleed em, i use a bit of fine wire wool, soaked in brake fluid, and give it a rub. make sure the seals are ok. google caliper overhaul :)

Sounds like a caliper is seized. Strip, clean and rebuild.

What calipers are on it? standard?

If so its worth looking at a pair of 2ltr brakes or corsa gsi ate calipers if your wheels arent big enough
