View Full Version : How do you measure 5 Stud Alloy Wheels?
4 Studs are obvious, but 5 studs????
errr... lol
The gap between the hole centres in mm, just as you would with 4 stud but you then have for eg 5x114.3 instead of 4x114.3?
Surely the number of studs is the obvious part. lol
Same as 4 studs...Centre to centre. Take 1 hole then follow it to the opposite hole (furthest away)
What are you doing? Redrilling something like brake disc's?
Pcd?

I'm aware of how hweels work, PCD, offset and all that pilaver (sp.), but you measure 4 stud on opposite studs, 5 studs don't have an exact opposite...

The furthest away will still be a couple mm short of the PCD....
If its for new work. I.e spacer shims for example, I just a Zeus book lol foutains of usefull engineering goodness all in one teeny tiny wipe clean booklet lol
In all honesty I didn't read the entire link, I skimmed it and swear I never even saw that diagram, thanks bmw156, and John I do know about PCD, I was just asking how to measure it, which bmw156 has kindly shown me
Buy a pdc ruler tool. Very handy if your gonna be looking at alot of different wheels.
Ebay 310231589050
Very useful for the money.
Measure from the centre of the wheel to the centre of a hole and double it.
For all those that said measure them tha same as four stud.....:tard: You FAIL!
