I recently cleared all my cookies and browsing history to try free up a bit of memory. But now my history doesnt save at all. Some sites im already logged in but most i now have to put username and password in.

It asks if i would like to save my login details to sites (like png) but when i next come on its not saved. It used to auto complete when i started to type but doesnt do this anymore.

Really annoying me, its my own personal computer so dont need it to log me out.

Also doesnt save my browse history. For example i go onto ebay, it doesnt save in the history. So when i type it into the address bar at the top, i have to type the full site because it doesnt come up in a drop down.

Serioulsy mate, FF is awesome in comparison. Much more reliable and I am lead to believe not as prone to 0mg viruses

2 in 1 fix for 0mg viruses, avast free and don't untick the box that says download google chrome :thumb:

you need to enable cookies click tools internet options an then enable cookies an some thing else about remmbering detials etc

IE here and when i clear my history theres a preserve box that saves all my logins if they are on my favorites list.

i went into options and restored default settings, still has some random websites saved in history i can clear but passwords etc are saving ok.

lol i dont know why but ive just rembered something strange from the other day.

my old man lives on his own and one of his mates has just split up with his wife so has been kipping on the sofa. the laptop has been running really slowly recently as hes been going on porn etc when my old mans gone bed. my old man rarely uses the computer and is pritty much incapable of turning it on. so my dad sent the laptop off to the local china man who cleared all the cookies (or what ever they do) my dad asked him to save all the pics onto an external hard drive, and delete the pics from the computer,
so a couple of days later we get the laptop back and turn it on to find everythings running much faster, we had a look on the ext harddrive to make sure the pics have been properly saved, to find 100's of pictures of high heel shoes, after speaking to my bros mrs who uses the computer now and again she said shes never even looked at shoes on the internet and she only ever wears flat shoes so it couldnt of been her. so later that day when my old mans mate came up, we kinda took the p1ss saying he had a shoe fetish and had been looking at 100's of womens shoes, he went bright red and we havnt seen him since!

lmfao!! just thought id share that with you.
