Sold an item on ebay and the guy buying has paid through ebay and not pay pal :mad: now i dont know how to access his funds or get the money into my account its really pissing me off

:/ That should still show up in your Paypal account mate.

Tell him to retract it and try again. Sounds like no money has been sent IMO.

how? i thought paypal was ebays preferred way to get funds......

If you decide to collect your item in person and can see what you’re paying for, you can consider using cash (but don’t carry large quantities)
Report listings that offer PayPal as a payment method but exclude PayPal in the item description
Don’t be fooled by sellers who claim their PayPal account isn’t working or have other excuses why you shouldn’t use PayPal
Never send money via Western Union, MoneyGram or other less secure methods (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/accepted-payments-policy.html)
Don’t buy items directly from sellers (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/rfe-spam-non-ebay-sale.html) (i.e. always complete your transaction on the eBay site) – sellers can operate outside of eBay rules and policies and you not be eligible under eBay Buyer Protection (http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buyer-protection-faq.html)
Don’t be fooled by ads or sellers who ask for down-payments to “reserve” an item (particularly cars) – fraudsters have no intention of returning your down-payment

Has he just said he has paid or can you see funds have gone in somewhere?

When using eBay checkout it would redirect to Paypal anyway. Never trust emails etc always check your theivingscumpal balance.

Ebay dont handle money themselves, goes through paypal.

Expect he has checked out through ebay but clicked sending cash cheque it will show he has paid but you wont have the funds.

just told him send me his email and i will request a payment off him if all else fails il just relist tonight thanks for the help chaps
