how to replace cam seal?

hi can someone please tell me how to change seal on the cam? its a nova 1.2 8v thanks

Time it up, take cambelt off, take cam pulley off, remove old seal with small spike etc, then fit new seal carefully and put back together

ok so i have done timing and everything off im looking at seal now just wasnt sure if i just could pull it off or not?? cheers

yes just pull the seal out, smear some oil round the new one before putting it on

then remove the breather box from behind the inlet manifold & clean it.
