I was fitting some spotlight to the rallycar today and found this.

I know nothing about car electrics but this doesn't look right to me lol

Anyone any ideas what would have caused it? The fuse doesn't look broken, just very melted. The blower was in a bad way when it was put into the car and doesn't work at all now.

It must be shorting somewhere and that's causing it to over heat but why hasn't the use blown?

Duff fuse, fuse has popped but the heat caused before it made it melt maybe.

Just change it for a new one if you have changed the blower already.

But the fuse hadn't popped, it only broke when I tried to pull it out. I don't get it.

my rad fan fuse gets facking hot as its on permanently at the mo. still should have blown before causing a potential fire hazard

Agreed, when I travelled to Billing this year in the Sport I noticed the fan wasn't working(and it was Hot:mad: )

Fuse had blown due to siezed motorlol

Fixed now though;)
