Glacier White 1.2 gsi rep project

hi all, getting a new shell from scorge01 in the next couple of weeks so thought i would start a new project thread the now as ive got all the parts. its a j reg in glacier white so deciding to keep it that colour, comes with a passenger wing, passenger door, dash, loom, gsi side skirts, tailgate and spoiler, vented bonnet and it will be rolling etc.

it has been fully seam welded and has had 2 new quarters.

i have a load of parts aswell to complete it,

gsi front bumper
grille
headlights
gm headlight protectors
front coilovers
rear bumper
rear lights
windows
full blue sri interior with luxe grey door cappings
engine (1.2 for time being)
rear springs (probs run rear coilovers)
axle (going convert to rear discs
front brakes
uncut parcel shelf
4 dial clocks (digi dash evetually)
corsa indicator/wipers
astra mk4 mudflaps

also paid a deposit on a set of softstars which have hardly been used since bought, so basically brand new

Discs look cool mate but I like the old skool'ness of the drums myself :)

If it's a GSi rep keep the GSi style clocks mate :) Make it look proper

cheers vaughan, wait and see, found a cav sri in the scrappies with discs all round so perfect donor lol.

got offered astra gsi mk4 308mm discs and huge saab calipers cheap but would need discs redrilled to 4 stud and the caliper holders machined to fit so dont think i will be doing that. plenty vectra v6 in the scrappies so loads of options out there

Id go for Vectra GSi 288mm V6 brakes, i showed you the ones ive just bought didnt i? Theyre really great.

yeah man there huge. should see the size of 308mm lol prob run v6 front with lmf discs drilled to 4 stud and astra gte/gsi rears

Aye sounds good. Im planning a rear disc conversion but not any time soon because of my other plan i told you i was buying.

What size softstars you getting, 15's?

16s mate, probs try run 195/40/16s so can have it sitting pretty low

Thats what i wanted to run on cav turbos, but in future.

Get it as low as you can, im busy cutting the insides of the wings out so they dont catch, and running 45's. Trying to get it as low as possible and stopping things from catching everywhere.

my front wings are rolled and ill jusr roll rears. but will be a daily so will need to wait and see

was meant to be monday but wont be till this monday coming now,

going dig out some more bits ready to take down to my house,

decided on a white and blue theme, which will be different from the original red stripe, priced up 4 falken 195/40/16s tyres under 200 pound seem resonable too.
