I need to sort some drums and shoes out over the next few weeks

Been having a look around and

Is it worth paying the extra for Brembo or Ebc drums and shoes ?

What's recommended ?
The above or Vauxhall ?
Or just motorfactor ones ?

Edd.

Considering how little they do i would just get some cheap ones. Vauxhall ones will be made by some other brake company that probably supplies motor factors.

motor factor ones will be fine. get new bearings too. the old ones won't come out too well.

most 'performance' stuff is just motor factor stuff in snazzy boxes anyway....

I've just got some from my local motor factors, Mintex shoes and a brand of drum I don't recognise. For a fiver you can get a new 'fitting kit' too that includes all the springs and stuff which is nice.

Motorfactors it is then

Might get some Mintex shoes as I know local factors does them, already got new stub axels, bearings, cylinders and the fitting kit.

Got them from Vauxhall parts uk, my old one were looking a little rusted and worn, plus most things are new on my Sport

I bought some EBC rear shoes for my Nova for £17. Before then I bought some from Halfords as it was on clearance sale - Ferodo shoes £9.99
