1.4 to 1.6 engine

can any one tell me if i can use my wiring loom from a 1.4 8v spi engine to run the 1.6 8v spi as have got a 1.6 with ecu and dont really want to the wire in if i can help it

if your gonna do a job, do it properly. which means ditch the spi and get some mpi.

i would say you could use the same loom aslong as there both dizzy or both coilpack then everything should match,

Its not all that hard tbh, my first lone conversion was an spi to mpi, its a matter of a few wires joining once you cut all the crap out of the spi loom.

do i have to rip the old loom out an start again if i get a mpi engine then

have a 16 spi loom here complete and uncut if that helps
