Ohhh I'm going to dive in here too lol
is the incar selector and rod the same on a 4 speed and 5 speed?
(dc1984 is going from a 1.2 4 speed to a F20 five speed so what bits does he need?)

The 4 speed lever needs removing from the car and the plastic lug on the right hand side of the lever needs cutting off (careful, its aluminium inside) then refitting. This allows the lever to move over far enough to select 5th.
At the gearbox, its advisable to flip the white plastic bit round in the UJ - you will need to file the two small lugs off to allow this.
I'm pretty sure the clutch cable is the same but don't quote me on that - check the 2.0 fitting guide in Articles :)
