what engine/box?
David.
it only came on sports and early 1300s. it controls the idle although the car will run with it disconnected if you take off the vacuum adavance aswell.
ohh i see...best not loose it then, since im sellin the engine when i get it out
Thats your buffle valve control unit, you need that prevent the buffle valve from discombobulating lol
is it similair to the foofoo valve in newer cars?
No theyre more like the EGR flange regulatoriser lol
the later sr wiring loom is different. so it is only of use if the buyer has an early loom.
errr im not down with all this new technobabble....basically, will it up my viva to 2.0?

Its an idle control unit, likely its broke anyway, they usually are.
They were fitted to the 13SB engine upto about 1986 when they binned it as I dont think it did a great deal anyway.
