CD player not working

After fitting my mk2 dash my cd player has stopped working

is there a fuse in the fusebox for this? The fuse on the back of the hu is fine

yeah mate fuse for it is with the rest of em understeering column to right abit haha, check see if all the earths are earthed round the car as would cause fuses to pop on a regular bassis as it did in me saloon

Earths should be fine as I only changed the plugs on the dash loom and any wires not used were taped up

don't suppose you know which fuse it is lol mk1 btw

i couldnt tell you mate, even dug out the haynes. just take em all out one by one an look at what one has blown

Thing is I had a quick look last night and I don't think any have blown

Fuses are all fine

Checked the wires and the switched live is giving 12v when keys turned but the permanent live is giving nothing

Any ideas?
