Hi, as some of you know i am breaking my bm convertible and also at some point wanting to get rid of all my nova spares. I understand that for seats, bumpers a courier is the best way, but what's the easiest and cheapest way to send smaller items, such as interior parts?

I have seen a price chart from royal mail for normal recorded delivery, do they have size restrictions? ie. Are things like doorcards allowed? They are lightish but quite large. Do i just package them up and take all the **** to post office and get them to sort it? lol

As you can see, im used to keeping all my car cr4p and not selling it

Parcel force will take door cards, you can send them via the post office. They have size restrictions but most trim parts should be fine. Their website will have details on size restrictions.

As for smaller trim parts, royal mail standard parcels should do the job. Anything fragile or valuable (or if you want to make sure it gets delivered) you ought to use special delivery.

Cheers, il take a better look at the website and see about sizes. I would like everything to be recorded though because there's too many scammers around these days. It's also annoying when people ask if the price includes postage or how much itl be when i have no idea Lol.

i use interparcel for big stuff, ive sent a whole nova dash and door cards, carpets to ireland for about £35 quite good for heavy items as well, ive sent a whole exhaust and a full suspension kit a lot cheaper than royal mail would charge.

Little or light items just use royal mail

I always used p2g0 for anything bigger than 30cm box or heavier than 10kg's as only cost £7-8 and chraged a tenner and they collected it saving me half an hour trip to the post office.

Im having trouble sending parts. Trying to find places that dont have size restrictions or weight restrictions and actually let you send engine parts and bumpers! They seem to have a restricition on everything.

A guy I work with got caught out on postage dimensions once with some courier, I forget who now (although citilink springs to mind...).

T'was for a bumper he sold via ebay. Got a price, buyer paid, courier collected - parcel disappeared for a week, then eventually reappeared back at his house with a letter saying it was oversize and they refused to deliver it lol
