Anyone enlighten me as to which Haynes is better for coverage of 20XE motor? If any??
i have a kadett (Astra mk2) one, that does the trick

mike the wiring for the early xe isnt in the cav one, only the m 2.5 post 1990 stuff. i have ordered the astra mk2 one off ebay. also have a look at my post in how to....

yeah and the colours are all over the place lol
correct mr baxter, theyre a fooker to get right. the info i posted has got the pins the ecu needs for it to run in there....

you mean the big round thing,
it dont have one as std, hard wired into early astras :thumb:
hows the engine run ?
tappets still ok ?
it should have a grey rectangle plug near the fuel pump relay..... its not there..... lol
anyway it runs mint, one tappet is noisey from cold but shuts up 2 mins later. runs and goes fine, scared my uncle ( he builds 7 ltr v8 hotrods...)

whats it like with that box on?
67 in second..... 95 ish in 3rd and off the clock in 4th.... on a private road.

i put that box on, as the f20 did 70mph at 3500rpm in 5th, **** that lol
i find f20s are like that, i prefer the f16wr's. esp on 2.0 8v's. nice and leggy
