i know this has probs been covered before but cant find it using the search. need to know how to wire the drivers door central locking mechanism. there is only 3 wires coming from the harness but 5 wires on the motor itself. the harness has a brown, brown/white and a brown/red. the motor has a brown, black, blue, white and green. what connects to what lol

Go to the scrappers and get some.
For pennies.
Or, if they have no novas, mk3 cav fuel cap motors are the same;)

cheers riggy :) thats all i need to know. no point getting other ones when i have some here lol
still not got to have a look yet mate , i havent forgot though :thumb:
Aye the drivers door is proper F****D up with wires, I've striped mine but wrote it all down, I'll dig mine out and see if it matches riggy:)
AFAIK two wires from the C/L control means its a negative trigger, so you want a 2-cable motor.
Meh, I'd just get a full C/L kit with independent loom rather than bodge around trying to figure out what wires to separate and use.
