hi just done compression test on my car!!!!

cylinder 1 17 bar

cylinder 2 15 bar

cylinder 3 15 bar

cylinder 4 15 bar

car isnt running properly would this damage performance badly???????

What engine is it? How did you test ie ful throttle oil in the barrels when was the engine last started?

how can you do a compression test on full throttle lol

hold the throttle wide open as you crank it over he means. and hope you didnt put oil down the bores as that would cause comp to read high.

I asked that as there wasnt much info. sometimes the bores dry so it help to drop a touch or oil down then at least the bores will be sealed the same on the rings. Well thats what I was told anyway a bit old skool but old ways are sometimes the best :thumb:

As was always told to do 2 tests 1 dry and 1 with a teaspoon of oil in the chamber

if the readings get higher with oil I was told the rings are ****ed as the oils creating a seam where the rings aren't
