funny how they don't mention mg rover disappearing up its own kazoo after 5 years of awful sales, woeful quality control, & really impressive asset stripping by its bosses. followed by it being built in china.........

Nice! :S

Embossed headrests, fair enough. This is easily noticeable and makes a huge difference inside IMO, but caps on the seatbelt anchorage bolts?! lol

It also doesn't seem to occur to them that the cars may have been built like Nissan do in Sunderland, if the right part is there then great, fit it. If not, shove any old thing on just to keep the line moving, as 99.9% of Joe Publics wouldn't even realise if their 'OK' sticker was absent from the rear quarterlight! lol

A good example comes from when the P11 GT Primera was still in production, the GTSE Chromoflair/Mystic flip paint things were all supposed to have a Momo Air race leather gearknob as standard. Guess how many did, and of those that did notice, I wonder how many commented/cared?

Same goes for the oval SS tail pipe finishers. lol

i remember seeing a few gt p11's with full leather instead of cloth gt seats due to a lack of seats....

there is no doubt i think they are **** cars lol.

being a production manager, i thought it was interesting how they can make simple things expensive, then spend alot more money making it more simple.

but then thats just me...

Kinda like the civil service.

Due to "government cuts", there is a block on recruitment. So two particular low grade jobs, ~£15k a year, at a certain naval air station couldn't get staff in them. As the roles needed doing, they hired in consultants. Costing £35k a year each...
