I joined the forum a long time ago when I first started building the car. Due to a lack of funds and not having easy access to the car it sat unloved in the garage for a few years. I had a week off work for easter this year and me and my brother finally got her back on the road.

It's currently a very basic spec but I will try and upgrade and use it as much as I can afford. It's a totally standard 1.6 8v GTE engine and box, cavalier GSI front brakes, Bilstein thick tarmac rally rear shocks, front suspension is a mismatch of stuff (shocks that came in the original car and springs from a Toyota Corolla twincam coupe) but it handles pretty good.

I'm really enjoying her and it's great fun for blasting about the place.

You don't happen to have a blue hatch running 3 spoke SR wheels do you? I meet one in Magheralin the other night.
