Were they endorsed by Vauxhall? Did they make many?

Well back to my original questions. I found the answers I'd asked for here:
http://www.opel-corsa-a.com/index_e.php?seite=Modelle/Umbauten/Hutchinson/Hutchinson_e.htm
"Vauxhall agreed to grant warranty on all parts not affected by the conversion and all other parts were covered by the conversion warranty by Mr Hutchinson’s company, whereby it is to be noted that no repairs were necessary during the guarantee period."
"Production quantities: Saloon 200, Hatchback 30"
So not fully endorsed by Vauxhall but not hindered by them either, just let Hutchinson get on with it really.

.. which I find surprising as convertable novas always look to me as if someone has chopped the roof off and draped a bin bag over the top with some pipe cleaners.
That convertable espace they built on topgear made me think of a huthinsons as soon as i saw it lol
