Right, back in the good ole days of there only being one MTV channel and a TV guide being what you found in the paper, MTV had a show on around 4pm presented by a guy called Eddie iirc. I never recall him playing music lol but he presented from a tiny little room not unlike Philip Schofield and the Broom Cupboard. I am also pretty sure that Wicky Gervais was on said show as a roving reporter.

This ring any bells?? :wtf: lol

At a guess this would be around 1995-1997 and the presenter had long hair and was a bit mad, think of the type that would have crap stuck all over the walls of his tiny studio. No, not literally, although that wouldn't have surprised me tbh!

The name of the show is on the tip of my tounge. :confused: :thumb:

Did we ever get TRL? I suppose if it wasn't abbreviated to sound cool back then that could have been the show mate.

They probably did play music, something like a phone in/possible emails (no texts!) What sticks in my mind is the presenter being a very strange man. lol

The show im thinking of had donna air presenting it and also the brown curly haired bird from 3 pints of lagar and a packet of crisps.

I think Charlie from Byka Gruurve presented it after Eddie had left. TBH he probably wasn't employed there and just came in one day when the fire door was left open. lol

Nah, Natalie Cassidy is the brunette from two pints. Sheridan Smith is the blonde. I think thats who Hobbit means?
