yes. if you take it out after ur MOT it will increase by 2-5bhp.

same car as me, yeah it's got a cat but there still pritty quick, got 109mph out of mine with no mods. just sort the exhaust for more power.

get a manifold off an sri (has to be an 'I' not a normal SR)
Down pipe and centre section off a GTE

this will unleash 10bhp for under ?100 and get rid of the cat. might fail mot but not f*cking lightly, also you can now fit an exhaust ment for a GTE :D

no it will not "unleash" 10bhp more 2 -5 bhp if your lucky like snowface said especially on a 1.2

Nope still wrong mate, it won't produce anywere near 10bhp mate not even my mongoose exhaust produces that coz the standard nova exhaust is really that restricted, with all that id expect 5bhp at the most. 8)

i recon if u fitted an SR camshaft and SRi manifold and GTE system you'd be looking at aobut 50-55bhp

couple that with the original 1.2 carb head and do some porting on the inlet manifold and you'd be looking at 60+bhp
