hi
when i drive my nova in the rain the engine keep's on cuting out then the engine will go ok for about 2min then it will cut out

could you tell me what could be wrong

if it only does it in the rain id say its an electrical problem, like water getting into your distributor cap or something. try taking the cap off and sealing it with a little grease/vaseline then refit, also check that your earth wires are ok

what engine is it? my 2.0 8v did that because of the location of the air flow meter. It is just behind the offside headlight so gets dribbled on my the water coming thru the astra gsi vents. By a bottle of "Wet Start" from halfords (in a little red spray can) and spray it generously on all your plugs and electrical connections (when it's all pluged in). It dries and forms a thin waterproof membrane to stop the water getting in. If you ever unplug something though the layer will be destroyed and you will need to spray it again. Make sure all connections are DRY before using the spray though.
