Here is my nova sport which i found down the side of a guys shed when i was looking at an rs1600i he had for sale.I first planned to just clean the bay and fit the graphics but one thing led to another and as you can see it is now a full on resto job.I am really enjoying now and can't wait to drive it when it's finished.Enjoy the pics. Front end looks mint, looked solid before paint as well

After umming and arring over the rear quarters i have decided to fit complete rear quarters as well as full sills and a rear panel when i can bloody find one.The rear arches have been repaired using repair panel but it is a little untidy and the rear lower section is rotten as well as were it buts up to the rear panel so i thought i would redo it all and do it right. That also means i can repair the inner arches using outer repair like novasportc550 did on his sr so it is his project thread that is the reason i decided to go the whole hog.Cheers matelol
Rear quarters sound a good idea
Rear panel, you could either geta genuine one from Opel classic parts on eBay.de or Hardrian panels do good pattern ones.

Got a brand new genuine rear panel from germany today.I also have hadrian right rear quarter as well as two new sills so all i need now is left (passenger)rear quarter to do body work.Oh and in the process of painting the gearbox, rack, engine mounts then the engine can go back in.Pics to follow.

Very professional job, I will be following your project with great interest.
It would be nice though if you could show before and after pics and some details of how you did it! Oh and maybe details of where or who does the work.
The picture of all of the nuts, bolts, brackets etc is brill, are they all new if not how did you get them all like that?
I hope you don't think i'm been critical but i'm sure like myself new to these projects, alot of us think the more the information the better...........:thumb:
GroupB - I've just started restoring a GTE (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=155015)

Most of the bolts and brackets are plated from the factory iirc and they will last longer than buffed bolts and i doubt it will see much rain when its done anyway mate:thumb:
