You dont need photobucket to remove a plug leak & put a socket on it. lol

Anybody? I'm struggling with this one
Take the red spark plug cover off and have a look under it to see if the lead thats falling off is connected to the spark plug and if the spark plug is still screwed into the engine;)
Why did you film it with the lead off?
Could be anything really - doesnt sound like the bottom end though, but it is hard to say...
I had a corsa once which was making similar noises, turned out it was the water pump

Sounds like a good thing to try.
Check the tension in the cambelt.
If it has play, around the waterpump (Impellor) moving then its fooked.
Also, check all the plugs, adams 106gti had this, knocking it cokc off, untill we tightened a loose pluglol
Use a power bar or similar as a stethoscope to locate the problem.
ht leads need looking at too

I've found one of the ht leads have corroded inside! Even thou they're all new? But I now know the knocking is coming from the gearbox.. When I pit the clutch in it goes away!?? Hmm

Two totally seperate issues.
There are garages for this purpose. :thumb:

Garage? That's boring & always expensive!lol and since I don't want to drive it anywere I don't fancy pushing it miles down the road to one! When I get it on my ramp around the corner I'll have to take it apart, seems like the only way to solve it..

Thing is, a mechanics diagnosis doesnt always have to result in a workshop booking. You can always go away & say you'll be in touch after pay-day. But fair enuff for not driving it.
You dont sound like a mechanic, yet youre about to take it apart! lol
