I'm looking to preferably get agreed value on the Nova once the project is finished and it on the road.

I know a few people have agreed valuation on thier pride and joy and was wondering which insurance companies give them (if you recommend them). I got a great quote from Sky yesterday but apparently the insurer couln't give agreed valuation.

Anyone got insurance with an agreed value through Sky?

Flux and Hic are the only companies that seem to do agreed value for new customers anymore.

Hic did it for me. Sky didn't wanna even think about it for me..

Sky have offered it to me on both cars before now, although I have been with them a while.

When you say not for new customers, are we talking you'd need to have a policy with them for a year before you can get one? Or only people who were with them prior to a certain date can have one?

Seem to recall Ollie saying it can be offered after a year but that's a bit of a risk to take IMO.

Hmmm, cheers for the feedback. I'll be asking Sky a few more questions to get the low down. I'll also try HIC and Flux to see what they'll quote me but I'm not confident as Flux quoted my £1300 a few years back on my 1.2 lol

sorry not being difficult on purpose but agreed values are a bit 'up in the air' at the moment here at Sky so it is hard for me to comment.

He means the top brass are having a rethink about where they stand on the matter and can't tell you anymore at present!

BTW mate, you will need to finish the car before anyone can give you an accurate AV of course!
