Just a few questions to all the tech gods or peeps in the know...

I've finally decided which engine to use in my nova which will be a 1400 8v using Webber 40's

What engine mod's would be ness to get the most power from the above engine.

I was thinking
B++ Head (as advised by Cp)
Kent 285 cam
Lightened pullys
lightened Flywheel
Ashley manifold and full exhaust system

Out of interest what would the rough power outcome be from the above and could I get any more?

Cheers in advance

you could really do with them all at the same time

especially head/cam/exhaust/pulleys

you would be lookin at 120ish bhp

lightening parts of the engine will never give you more power. This is pureply determined by how much fuel you can burn on one stroke. All they do is increase the pick up (speed up throttle response) of the engine

Yeah, i wouldnt recommend lightening the bottom end/flywheel - these engines have relatively light components - there's not a lot to be gained and with the 40's getting it to rev up quickly will not be a problem. Best save your money for getting your car to grip and not wheelspin IMO
