Right, I wish to buy one of OBP's pedal sets, but as yet haven't chose the gearbox I will be running.

X18XE1 smallblock engine in a stripped, lightened and caged Saloon for track day use..If anyone cares to suggest gearboxes. (Standard, can't afford a quaife or similar yet)

Can older cable operated gearboxes be converted to hydraulic?

Anyone tried a hydraulic box with a 4 paddle clutch?

Cheers all.

you can get slave cylinders to do the job of the cable, and usually mounts to the box snesibly... I 'acquired' an AP slave from uni a good few years back lol

given how much of a pain the hydralic CRB's seem to be (and the mental cost), I'd be inclined to stick with a regular setup for the clutch/CRB and get the slave cylinder ontop of the box

Come again Stuart..

in essence, the later ones have a hydraulic slave cylinder built round the input shaft.. they look very tidy, but are crazy money to replace...

to rig up an external cylinder to the outside lever will be a lot easier & cheaper to repair/replace/alter.

Got you...My brain took a while to figure out CRB for some reason..lol
