Tropical fish/shrimps

I have 6 of these little dudes in my tank. Now the other day i could only count 5 and this (the shell of a shrimp)

Just see 6 in the tank again wtf ??? do they loose there shell or what ???

I have one in there at the min that looks like his underside is coming away im guessing he is now going to re shell him self lol

Yeah he'll be shedding mate. Once they shed their shell they tend to be a bit soft for a while and will usually find a place to hide from predators till their shell hardens up again. During which time they don't tend to feed much either so don't worry ;)
