someone sugested fitting a suzuki swift 1300 16v engine in the nova, would anyone seriously consider this as vauxhall have already provided us with some cracking lotus tuned engines. seams a bit silly to me, whats everyone think?

the engine is pretty damn good.

who cares if it came from a different manufacturer.
i mean the diesil engines are made by isusu, and bmw (v6td)

if any particular engine fits the criteria then you use it regardless of what company made it.

wud b a good conversion if its not too much hassel to fit, very tunable and very fast as standard, like 8k rpm rev limit :D

find a lotus carlton, get the engine out of that, mutilate your nova to fit it and then u will have a fast car

if you could find a way of fitting the suzuki engine you should give it a go. badge ur nova as a 1.3 and go and embarrass ur local sh!troen "we have the fastest cars in the world" saxo brigade
