how many miles to a ?10

hello does anyone know how many miles u should get to a ?10 on a 1.2 nova standard engine as my fual guage dont work:(

My car did 220 miles to a tank but after putting redex in the tank for the last 5 fill ups it increased to 250 which was nice.

i get about 270 using optimax in my sri but i have no lambda fitted and i sit in traffic alot. you shud get 100+ out of ?10 with it being 72p/litre at the mo.

make sure you keep a petrol can in ya boot ;)

use 10p a mile as a rough rule of thumb for that engine, i used to get 100 miles to a tenner in my 1200

its more like 90 now depends how i drive tho cause of 2nd choke on the 32/34

In the GSi when was 8v i used to fill up wich cost around ?30 and would get 330 miles to that. wich at the time was a weeks driving.

U should be looking round the 100 mile mark, although prices fluctuate, so giv or take a few miles!

i regularly see 110miles to a tenner but had on a good journey 200 miles to ?15 quid once.. not bad considering the motor is nearing 100K :?

My 1ltr used to put in a consistant 110 for a tenner, or 140 if you realy nursed it (usually the end of the month before pay day!!) so I would say around the 100 mile mark
Im still getting 100 mile (just) from my GSi now, which Im quite surprised about, and thats with a regular thrashing!! :D

I get about 100 miles + out of a tenner in a 1.2 with sr carb and inlet on (running rich)

even my mams GTI reads on the computer thinggy about 30+ mpg round town.

My 1200 8v has done 144k miles, and I get the thumb rule of 10p per mile.

On an 'easy' ?10 I could get 125miles, but on a 'hard' ?10, I could see as little as 90.

Best I had was 350miles for ?28 fill-up from a pretty dry tank!! Sounds good to me...

i have a 1.2 and can do 100- 150 miles on a tenna but that is on the motor way. if your drivin round town then its a lot less
