I have a set of cessiros that have been blasted but it's left that textured feel to it and i want to paint them but how do you get them a smooth finish to paint them? I will get a picture of one of them tommorow to show you the wheel.
sand paper, i started with 180 grit then 320 grit, as they are only my spare set im not going further, use a block on flat spokes so not to groove them with the sand paper, then etch prime, then high build prime, a quick rub back of the primer so remove any blemish then paint and if required laqure.

I did think maybe that's how you do it but wasn't to sure on what grit to use to start with. Thanks :thumb:
