Hi men, anyone got an exploded view of under bonnet so i can see how all the panel go together? eg strut turrets and inner wing sections. Thanks

Was looking for info on how the panels linked into one another. Like if i drilled out the spot welds on the strut turrets what panel would i be drilling next. Going to save a good engine bay from the scrap.

Ahh if you give me a couple of days I'll stick up how to, as I done this recently, you'll need a few new spot weld drills and a bit of time,

Stihl saw it off further back.

And then bring the whole lot home, get in your garage, and dress it all up etc.

Will be a tw4t of a job at the scrappers lol

Also, remember the legs go 3ft under the car lol

The whole lot is home mate so that makes life easier. Maybe get round to it when i take on another project. Maderia is the place to find a good mk1. Looking into bring one back. Seems they all drive mk1 gt's /sr's even yellow is popular.

Away for two weeks so i'll put some up when i get back. The mother inlaw as a house over there so she has some locals looking into it. It seem you have to ship it to Portugal then its up to yourself to do the rest. So guess it would be a fair we trip on the boat to the uk but i think it can be done! Got my eye on an 85 yellow gt that her neighbour has. I'll post the picture i took when i'm back.

to remove the chassis leg youll need to drill out all the spot welds from inside the car

Not the best, but im sure Burgo, has a copy of a pannel beaters book, showing all the spot welds etc
