Thought you could buy the pinion and the shaft off Quaife's website? Are you talking fully built racks?

Thats not right - EPAS is just the column?

The 2.7 rack is the 'wet' rack from a Corsa B

To be honest you arent really spoilt for choice when it comes to quik racks - just get what you can - they are all the same.

i know epas is just the column, but the racks that they use are just over 2 and a half turns lock to lock,

and you can get them for a tenner from a scrappy, better value for money than 100 quid or so on a 2.5 lock to lock imo

Iirc do you not need to cut and weld the steering arms on the corsa rack due to it's wider track?

Cut & weld? They actually unscrew & come off lol

lol I ment I read in a thread the corsa steering arms are longer than nova ones, but I don't know if nova arms fit the corsa rack etc

the track rods unscrew from the rack - not just the track rod ends!

and yes nova track rods fit a corsa rack

I am aware the rod ends and steering arms are seperate parts, the point I was trying to ask was the overall width of a corsa b steering rack and arms from rod end to rod end, is it wider than a nova set up?

If it is then there would be some pretty serious toe in issuse

the difference in track width between a nova and a corsa is purely in the track rods and not the rack so its a simple swap,

Ahh so the actuall worm is the same lenght, cool so epas to corsa b rack to nova arms to nova track rod ends = power steering and 2.7 turns lock to lock?

also worth taking the rack mount bracket from the corsa at the same time - its a bitch to get off btw!
