Im currently doin a 2.016v conv, can any1 tell me who has done this where they mounted the ecu? And also wot suspension they r using 2 carry the extra weight??? Cheers muchly :twisted:

the last 2l 16v conversion i did i bored a hole behind the battery and brought the ecu through to the shelf under the steering wheel. the grommet on the loom can be used to seal the hole as long as you bore the correct size hole. On the bulk head you will have to cut a little notch away to let the wires through. both are shown below

i kept the ecu in place with velcro

I think thats where most peeps put them on the 16v conversions.

Seen a few in the glovebox aswell.

cheers for that, any ideas on suspension for the bitch dont want a rock hard ride but need it 2 handle??? :o

well i had Bilstein coilovers in the front of mine but the car was solid due to the fact that the front had no bushings, it was fully rosejointed. i'm sure someone else can recommend a shock and spring combo for ya.
